Supadupa Reading with Author Ty Allan Jackson

On Friday, July 22, 2022, hundreds of students from summer camps in Jacksonville gathered at the Prime Osborn Convention Center in Downtown Jacksonville to celebrate the Supadupa Summer Literacy Initiative.
The intiative, which was organized by Kids Hope Alliance and the Jacksonville Public Library, consisted of a six week literacy program led by children's author and speaker Ty Allan Jackson and centered around his novel, The Supadupa Kid.
Friday's event marked the conclusion of the end of the initiative. After a party and a lunch, Jackson encouraged students to keep reading and pursue their dreams. He also surprised each attendee with an autographed copy of the Supadupa Kid 2: Move.
