Organizations teaming up to provide kids with uniforms in time for school

The Giving Closet Project has donated $40,000 worth of uniform and supply donations to the Kids Hope Alliance (KHA), a group that helps low-income and homeless youth all across Duval County.

At KHA, there are dozens of boxes with uniforms for boys and girls of all sizes. There are also jackets and some hygiene items. Students will get two pairs of uniforms to prepare them for the school year.

Jazzmine Cockfield, a family liaison for Ramona Elementary, has seen the kids’ reactions firsthand when they get their own pair.
