Introducing PageHive: A New Reading Challenge for Duval County Students

You may have already heard about Mayor Deegan’s River City Readers challenge where students have used the BeanStack app to log their reading minutes. Private and homeschool students can still use this app however; there’s something new for traditional and charter students.

PageHive is a fun new way to track their reading, discover books, and celebrate their progress. It’s a new app that Duval County Public Schools developed.

Whether you're reading at home, in the classroom, or during free time, PageHive makes it easy to keep track of the minutes you spend reading and build your very own digital bookshelf.

PageHive gives students several tools to make reading more interactive and rewarding:

Log and track your reading minutes so you can see how much time you're spending with books.

Build a personalized virtual bookshelf filled with the books you want to read and the books you've already enjoyed.

Keep track of your progress by seeing which books you've completed and which ones you're currently reading.

Rate the books you've read and share your thoughts about your reading experiences.

View teacher-added read-aloud books and enjoy books selected especially for your class.
