Dr. Dana Kriznar is the Interim Superintendent for Duval County Public Schools (DCPS) in Jacksonville, FL. Duval County Public Schools is the 20th largest school district in the nation, with over 130,000 students attending 200 schools.
Dr. Kriznar began her 37-year career with Duval County in 1986 and has served as a teacher, a school-based administrator, and district administrator including Chief of Staff and Deputy Superintendent. Dr. Kriznar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Iowa State University, a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of North Florida, and a Ph.D. in Educational Administration and Policy from the University of Florida.
